Notice to Mariners

Mariners are advised that the U.S. Coast Guard is conducting a user survey as part of a Waterway Analysis and Management System (WAMS) review of Lake Champlain. The purpose of the WAMS is to determine if aids to navigation on Lake Champlain should be improved, relocated, replaced, or discontinued. The information collected from this survey is needed for the Coast Guard to gain a better understanding of the users of Lake Champlain and to validate the adequacy of aids to navigation on the lake.
