Notice to Mariners
Champlain Canal - Mechanicville

Mariners are advised that Champlain Canal Lock C-3 in Mechanicville requires all northbound boaters to tie to the west (port) side of the lock chamber when locking through the lock, due to a non-operating fill valve, until further notice.
The Canal system is scheduled to close to navigation at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, October 14, 2020. All recreational and commercial vessel operators should plan their trips to ensure they exit the system by that time. For more information, click here.
