Notice to Mariners
Cayuga-Seneca Canal – Waterloo
April 28, 2015
Mariners are advised that environmental dredging will be occurring between navigation markers R “90” and G “97” on the Cayuga-Seneca Canal in Waterloo from the start of the 2015 navigation season through June 12, 2015. During this time the north half of this section of the channel will be closed and all vessels will navigate in the southern half.
Mariners should reduce speed, stop all forward motion and proceed at a "No-Wake" speed when transiting this area and under no circumstances shall any vessel exceed 5 MPH.
