Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal, Cayuga-Seneca Canal, and Champlain Canal

Mariners are advised that the Corning Museum of Glass GlassBarge and the replica Canal boat Lois McClure will be traveling the New York State Canal System this season to mark the 150th anniversary of Corning Incorporated’s move to Corning, NY via the Hudson River and New York’s Canals, and the 100th anniversary of the opening of the New York State Barge Canal.
The GlassBarge and Lois McClure will be docked at the following facilities on the dates below, so space may be limited for other vessels in these locations:
- June 23 & 24 – Port of Waterford
- June 25 – Lock E-7, Niskayuna
- June 26 & 27 – Riverlink Park, Amsterdam
- June 28 – Canajoharie
- June 29 – July 1 – Little Falls Canal Harbor, Rotary Park
- July 2 & 3 – Ilion Public Marina
- July 4 & 5 – Rome, Bellamy Harbor Park
- July 6-8 – Sylvan Beach Canal Terminal
- July 9 – Brewerton Canal Terminal
- July 10-15 – Baldwinsville, Lock E-24 upper wall
- July 16 – Lock E-25, Mays Point
- July 17 & 18 – Lyons Canal Terminal
- July 19-22 – Fairport Canal Terminal
- July 23 & 24 – Holley Canal Terminal
