The Canal Corporation has directed the New York Power Authority to reduce releases from Hinckley Reservoir to 300 cubic feet per second (cfs) beginning on Friday, May 27, below the release rate of 490 cubic feet per second (cfs) specified by the 2012 Operating Diagram.
This reduced released rate of 300 cubic feet per second (cfs) from Hinckley Reservoir will continue until further notice.
