Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal – Clay, Brewerton and Baldwinsville
June 10, 2022
Mariners are advised of underwater inspections occurring on the Erie and Central Erie Canals in Clay, Brewerton and Baldwinsville starting on the following schedule:
- Monday, June 13 – Three Rivers Terminal (Clay) - Terminal Area
- Tuesday, June 14 –Erie Canal Lock E-23 (Brewerton) – Guard Gate
- Wednesday, June 15 – Erie Canal Lock E-24 (Baldwinsville) – Guard Gate
The inspection areas will be marked by commercial diver’s flags while divers are in the water. Boaters should reduce speed and proceed at a "No Wake" speed when transiting these areas.
