Mariners are advised that the large, high-profile shipment of beer making tanks on route to Rochester are mooring tonight at the lower wall of Erie Canal Lock E-22 Sylvan Beach and the upper wall of Erie Canal Lock E-20 Whitesboro. They will be continuing tomorrow at 7:00 AM westbound at a speed of about 5 MPH, taking about an hour to lock through each lock.
Mariners encountering this shipment are likely to experience delays. Plan itineraries accordingly.
