Notice to Mariners
New York State Canal System

Mariners are reminded that the New York State Canal System is scheduled to close for the season on Sunday, November 20th at 5:00 PM. All recreational vessels transiting the Canal System must exit the System prior to that time.
Commercial vessels requiring additional time to clear the System are advised to make arrangements with the Canal Traffic Agent at (518) 461-0942 as soon as possible, and no later than 5:00 PM on Friday, November 18th.
