Erie Canal – Rochester Area

Mariners are advised of bridge washing activities now through the rest of the navigation season on the following bridges over the Erie Canal in the Rochester area:

258.09 E-144A, Genesee Expressway, I-390 NB
258.14 E-144B, Genesee Expressway, I-390 SB
258.65 E-144C, Outer Loop, I-390/590 EB
258.68 E-144D, Outer Loop, I-390/590 WB
264.81 E-169A, I-390 NB
264.83 E-169B, I-390 SB
Work will involve a truck mounted barge which might occasionally reduce the channel width.
Mariners should reduce speed, stop all forward motion and proceed at a "No-Wake" speed when transiting this area.
