Erie Canal – Gasport/Lockport/Tonawanda

Mariners are advised that bridge inspections will be occurring on the western Erie Canal according to the following schedule:

• Wed, Sep 9^th – Slayton Settlement Road (E-220), Gasport

• Wed, Sep 9^th – Canal Road (E-224), Lockport

• Thu, Sep 10^th – Day Road (E-225), Lockport

• Fri, Sep 11^th – North Adams Street (E-229), Lockport

• Mon, Sep 14^th – Matt Murphy Way (E-228), Lockport

• Tue, Sep 15^th – Exchange Street (E-230), Lockport

• Wed, Sept 16^th – Main Street (E-233), Lockport

• Thu, Sep 17^th – SR 31, Transit Street (E-234), Lockport

• Fri, Sep 18^th – Stevens Street (E-235), Lockport

• Tue, Sep 22^nd – SR 270, Campbell Road (E-241A), Amherst

• Wed, Sep 23^rd – SR 384, Delaware Street (E-247), Tonawanda

Channel width may be reduced and slight delays may occur.

Mariners should reduce speed, stop all forward motion and proceed at a "No-Wake" speed when transiting these areas.
