Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal – Fort Plain

Mariners are advised that the rehabilitation of the State Route 80 (E-25) bridge will commence on Tuesday, July 28th. This work will be staged, starting with scaffolding hanging below the southern half of the bridge and marine traffic utilizing the northern half of the channel. Halfway through the project this arrangement will be reversed. Auxiliary, uncharted red and green Aids to Navigation (AtoNs) will be placed to delineate the narrowed channel.
