Commercial Permits

Commercial Mariners are reminded to apply for their 2016 permits now to avoid any delays when intending to enter the New York State Canal System. Commercial permits are required for those shipping product or passengers, but not for captains delivering recreational vessels – they may use recreational passes.

Recreational permits can be purchased online at https://wwwapps.canals.ny.gov/store.
