Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal – Frankfort

Mariners are advised that construction activities are in progress at Railroad Bridge (E-40) over the Erie Canal below Erie Canal Lock E-19 in Frankfort. A workboat and flexi-float will be positioned and moving beneath the bridge during the workweek.
Mariners should reduce speed, stop all forward motion, sound horns, and proceed at a “No Wake” speed when traversing this area.
