Notice to Mariners
Oswego Canal – Oswego

Mariners are advised that they may experience delays at Oswego Canal Lock O-6 in Oswego due to a maintenance issue, until further notice. Maintenance forces have been notified.

The Canal system is scheduled to close to navigation at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. All vessel operators should plan their trips to ensure they exit the system by that time. For more information, please click here.

The Canal Corporation urges all users to register to receive updates through the "Notice to Mariners" notification program at www.canals.ny.gov.
