Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal – Perinton

Mariners are advised that the Town of Perinton will hold a marine parade to celebrate the Erie Canal bicentennial on Saturday, September 17th from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The event will start at the Parker St. Bridge (E-127) over the Erie Canal and will proceed west to Oxbow Rd., east of the Aryualt Rd. Bridge (E-130) over the Erie Canal and return to the Parker St. Bridge. Approximately 15 to 20 vessels will participate. Boaters should reduce speed, stop all forward motion and proceed at a "No Wake" speed when approaching the event participants.
