Notice to Mariners
Central Erie Canal – Cross Lake
September 1, 2022
Mariners are advised that the navigation channel from the Plainville Rd, Bridge (E-79) to Buoy G "407" in the area east of Cross Lake Outlet has been reported as being blocked by floating vegetative debris. Efforts to clear the blocked area of the Canal are underway. Boaters attempting to transit this area should use extreme area until vegetation has been cleared.
