Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal – Orleans County
August 8, 2022
Mariners are advised that Erie Canal lift bridge inspections will be conducted on the following schedule:
- Tuesday, August 9th and Wednesday, August 10th – Hulberton Road Lift Bridge (E- 191) in Hulberton.
- Thursday, August 11th and Friday, August 12th – East Ave. Lift Bridge (E-187) in Holley.
- Friday, August 12th – Knowlesville Lift Bridge (E-206) in Ridgeway and Prospect St. Lift Bridge (E-211) in Medina may experience delays in operation due to engineering activities.
Delays may occur due lift bridges remaining in the lowered position for an extended period during inspections.
