Notice to Mariners
Oswego Canal – Phoenix
July 21, 2022
Mariners are advised that the upper navigation pool at Oswego Canal Lock O-1 in Phoenix will be lowered to 1 foot below minimum navigation level on Friday, July 22, 2022, at 7:00 am, by Eagle Creek Renewables. Surface level elevation will be 362.90 ft. BCD (361.44 ft. NAVD 88).
It is anticipated that water will return to normal operating levels by the end of the day.
These activities will cause a drop in the water level which may affect boats and docks on the impoundment above Lock O-1.
