Notice to Mariners
Cayuga-Seneca Canal – Waterloo
October 8, 2021
Mariners are advised that the Seneca Monster Classic Regatta will be taking place on Sunday, October 10, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Approximately 35 canoes/kayaks will be participating in the event. The course starts at Riverpark Commons in Waterloo, continues to Seneca Lake and finishes at Riverpark Commons. Navigation inspectors will be present on the course.
Mariners should reduce speed, stop all forward motion and proceed at a "No Wake" speed when approaching event participants. Slight delays may occur.

The Canal system is scheduled to close to navigation at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. All vessel operators should plan their trips to ensure they exit the system by that time. For more information, click here.
