Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal
Tonawanda, Lockport and Royalton
Erie and Niagara Counties

Mariners are advised of bridge inspection activities on the following bridges over the Erie Canal:
- Route 384, Delaware Street (E-247)
- Route 270, Campbell Blvd (E-241A)
- Stevens Street (E-235)
- N. Adam Street Lift Bridge (E-229)
- Day Road (E-225)
- Canal Road (E-224)
- Gasport Lift Bridge (E-222)
- Slayton Settlement Road (E-220)
Inspection activities will occur from September 13th through September 22nd. During this period barges may encroach upon the navigation channel occasionally. Passing vessels are to come to a complete halt and then proceed at a "No Wake" speed through the area at idle.
