Notice to Mariners
Champlain Canal

Mariners are advised of reports of both red and green buoys (Aids to Navigation) from the Waterford Visitor Center, at the beginning of the Champlain Canal, to Champlain Canal Lock C-4 in Stillwater that are partially submerged or have been moved off station due to high water levels and strong currents from recent heavy rainfall.
Crews have been notified and are working to relocate the buoys.
Boaters should proceed with caution until further notice.
