NOTICE TO MARINERS
ERIE CANAL – TEMPORARY CLOSURE LOCK E-17 LITTLE FALLS
JUNE 1, 2021
The New York State Canal Corporation today announced that Lock E-17 (Little Falls) will be closed on Thursday, June 3 for a crane adjustment.
The Canal Corporation anticipates reopening Lock E-17 on Friday, June 4.
When the lock reopens, all lockages will be conducted on the half-hour, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm each day until further notice.
Additional information about the repair of the lock and its return to full service will be shared as the information becomes available.
The Canal Corporation urges all users to register to receive updates through the “Notice to Mariners” notification program at www.canals.ny.gov.
