Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal - Mohawk River
October 7, 2020
Mariners are advised that the water level along this Mohawk River section of the Erie Canal have subsided enough that the governing clearance of Bridge E-14A (I-890 connector) is back to the standard clearance of 21’.
The Canal system is scheduled to close to navigation at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, October 14, 2020. All recreational and commercial vessel operators should plan their trips to ensure they exit the system by that time. For more information, click here
