Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal/Mohawk River – Scotia to Fort Plain

Mariners are advised that Erie Canal Locks E-8 in Scotia through Lock E-15 in Fort Plain that were closed in a previous Notice to Mariners have reopened to navigation.
Mariners are also advised that high flows along the Mohawk River sections of the Erie Canal have created strong cross currents, turbulence and heavy debris.
Proceed with caution.
