Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal – Newark

Mariners are advised of a tree down in the southern half of the channel near Beacon G “707”, east of the Edgett Street Bridge (E-112). Mariners should use the northern half of the channel. Crews have been dispatched and it is expected that the channel will be completely cleared by the end of the day on Tuesday, May 12th.
