Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal - Rochester

Mariners are advised that bridge ramp construction activities on East Henrietta Road, Route 15 (Bridge E-146) over the Erie Canal, in the City of Rochester are in progress and will be throughout the 2015 navigation season. This work is not expected to cause any vertical clearance restrictions. The navigation channel width under the bridge may be slightly reduced at times but will not significantly affect navigation.
BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION AHEAD signs will be in placed at each end of the work zone and navigation aids will be in place to delineate the work zone.
Mariners should reduce speed, stop all forward motion and proceed at a "No-Wake" speed when transiting this area.
