Notice to Marines
Erie Canal – Scotia and Whitesboro Update
June 21, 2019
Mariners are advised that the Erie Canal from to Lock E-8 Scotia to Lock E-20 Whitesboro is temporarily closed due to high water levels from flash flooding. Water levels are already receding, and sections of the Canal will reopen as soon as conditions allow for safe passage.
