Notice to Mariners
Canal Update – Champlain Canal
June 3, 2019
Mariners are advised that water levels on the Champlain Canal have marginally improved, however dangerous conditions still exist. Canal employees are prepared to install navigation buoys and danger buoys located near dams, which are necessary for safety of the boating public, when conditions permit.
We will provide additional updates as conditions become safe for navigation.
All other sections of the New York State Canal System are open to navigation.
