Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal – Town of Ogden
July 20, 2018
Mariners are advised of bridge repair activities to begin on July 24 and go through August 31 on Erie Canal Bridge E-173, Gillett Road over the Erie Canal. The normal overhead clearance will not be affected. The width clearence will, however, be reduced.
Mariners should reduce speed, stop all forward motion, and proceed at a “No Wake” speed when traversing this area.
