Mariners are advised of underwater lock inspections on the following days at the following Erie Canal locks:

July 23-24 Lock E-20 Whitesboro (315) 736-4617

July 25 Lock E-27 Lyons (315) 946-4062

July 26-27 Lock E-28A Lyons (315) 946-4410
Delays may occur, so plan itineraries accordingly. It is suggested that mariners contact the locks by phone prior to coming within VHF range to make the lock tender aware of the intended transit, and to get updates on expected delays.
