Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal/Mohawk River

July 27, 2017

 

Mariners are advised that high water levels along Mohawk River sections of the Erie Canal have reduced the vertical clearance of Bridge E-14A (I-890) to 20.37’, which is below the governing 21’ for this section of canal.  The rest of the eastern Erie Canal bridge clearances are currently at or above 21'.
