Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal - Lockport
April 26, 2016
Mariners are advised that bridge reconstruction activities on Main Street (Bridge E-233) over the Erie Canal, in the City of Lockport are in progress and will be throughout the 2016 navigation season. This work is not expected to cause any vertical clearance or width restrictions.
BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION AHEAD signs will be in placed at each end of the work zone and navigation aids will be in place to delineate the work zone.
Mariners should reduce speed, stop all forward motion and proceed at a "No-Wake" speed when transiting this area.
