Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal – Lockport/Rochester
August 21, 2020
Mariners are advised that water management intended to reduce the water level between Lock E-34/35 in Lockport and the Genesee River Crossing in Rochester is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 24th. This drop could be as much as one (1) feet in Lockport and would taper down eastward to nearly zero in Rochester.
