Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal – Scotia to Tribes Hill
August 5, 2020
Mariners are advised of strong currents and heavy debris due to recent heavy rainfall in the Mohawk River between Erie Canal Locks E-8 in Scotia and Lock E-12 in Tribes Hill, particularly at the downstream approaches.
Boaters should proceed with caution in these areas.
