Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal – Macedon
June 25, 2020
Mariners are advised of bridge rehabilitation activities that are in progress on the Quaker/O’Neil Bridge E-120 over the Erie Canal in the town of Macedon. Normal overhead clearance will be reduced, on a short-term basis, to 15 feet of vertical height on the south span with further reduced overhead.clearance on the north span.
Boaters approaching this area should be aware of the vertical clearance of their vessels and proceed with caution.
Mariners should reduce speed, stop all forward motion, blow horns, and proceed at a "No-Wake" speed when traversing this area.
