Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal – Baldwinsville
July 2, 2019
Mariners are advised of a fireworks display just west of Lock E-24 Baldwinsville and Papermill Island on Wednesday, July 3rd at 10:00 pm.
Mariners in the area are to maintain a distance 75 yards from the fireworks source, outside of the fallout zone. Boaters must travel at a ‘No Wake’ speed of not more than 5 mph and be aware of denser than usual traffic and anchored spectator boats in the area. Law enforcement boats will be present.
