Erie Canal – Reopening Update
June 21, 2019
Mariners are advised that the Erie Canal from to Lock E-18 Jacksonburg to Lock E-20 Whitesboro has reopened to navigation.
Lock E-16 St. Johnsville to E-17 Little Falls will open tomorrow morning at 7:00 am. Remaining locations will continue to reopen as soon as conditions allow.
Mariners are reminded that they may encounter debris, high water, high current, and buoys off station in any sections recently reopened after a high-water event.
