Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal – Ilion
June 7, 2019
Mariners are advised that a channel encroachment exists at the mouth of Steele Creek in Ilion, at buoy R520 and west of Lock E-18 Jacksonburg. Two red buoys have been added at this site to delineate the encroachment. When transiting this area use caution and proceed at a "No-Wake" speed.
