Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal – Town of Ogden
November 2, 2013
Mariners are advised that repair activities will be occurring on the Gillette Road Bridge (E-173) over the Erie Canal from now through the end of the navigation season. Initially most activities will be occurring from the top of the bridge deck so it is anticipated that there will be minimal impact on vessel traffic.
Mariners should reduce speed, stop all forward motion and proceed at a "No-Wake" speed when transiting this area.
