MEDIA ADVISORY: THE 2015 WATERFORD TUGBOAT ROUNDUP KICK-OFF

The 16th annual Waterford Tugboat Roundup begins on Friday, September 11 with the Albany to Waterford Tugboat Parade led by the Canal Corporation’s flagship Tug URGER, Grand Erie, and Tender 3 – three premier vessels of the New York State Fleet.

The annual Waterford Tugboat Roundup is a family-friendly festival celebrating the heritage of the Erie Canal in Waterford and is filled with tugboat viewing and tours, music, food, children’s activities, vendors, boat rides and fireworks.  There is no charge for admission.
