Notice to Mariners

Mariners are advised that buoys Red 214 and Red 216 on the Champlain Canal are temporarily off station. During the remainder of the navigation season these buoys will be subject to frequent short-distance relocations to facilitate the EPA-GE Hudson River Dredging Project. Mariners should proceed with caution when transiting the work area in the vicinity of these buoys.
All mariners are required to contact the project's Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) on Channel 18A when entering the work areas.
