Erie Canal – Monroe County Bridge Inspection
July 26, 2011
Mariners are advised that bridge inspection activities will begin Thursday, July 28, 2011 on Genesee Valley Park Pedestrian Bridge, in the City of Rochester, Monroe County and will continue until the end of the day on Friday, July 29, 2011.
The work zone will be marked by “Canal Construction Ahead” signs, placed at each end of the work zone. Mariners are instructed to blow vessel horns when approaching the bridge.
Mariners should proceed with caution through this area.
