Erie Canal – Regatta

Mariners are advised that the Northern New York Paddlers will hold their annual "Electric City Regatta" on Saturday, July 16, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The regatta will start immediately west of Lock E-9 (Rotterdam) proceeding west to Lock E-10 (Cranesville) and returning to the starting point at Lock E-9 (Rotterdam).
Mariners are reminded to use caution and be mindful of their wakes in this area as there will be 75 to 100 kayakers and canoeists in the Canal, participating over the duration of the event.
