Notice to Mariners

Champlain Canal - Regatta

Mariners are advised that the Troy Motor Boat and Canoe Club will hold a rafting regatta on Saturday, July 2, 2011, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This event will be taking place from buoy R 18 at the southern end of Campbell Island to buoy G 1 in the village of Waterford, Saratoga County. Marine patrols will be present during the event. Mariners are reminded to use caution and be mindful of their wakes through this area as there will be approximately 85 rafters in the water, tethered to a central floating dock.
