Erie Canal – Bridge Reconstruction
June 6, 2011
Mariners are advised that bridge reconstruction activities are in progress on Railroad Bridge (E-17), in the Towns of Rotterdam and Glenville over the Erie Canal and will continue until the end of the day on Tuesday, November 15, 2011.
Bridge reconstruction activities will not impact overhead clearance. The work zone will be marked by “Canal Construction Ahead” signs, placed at each end of the work zone. Mariners are instructed to blow vessel horns when approaching the bridge.
