Canal Update
June 3, 2011
Mariners are advised, due to improving conditions, the Erie Canal from Lock E-24 (Baldwinsville) to Lock E-26 (Clyde) and Cayuga/Seneca Canal Lock C/S-1 (Cayuga) will open for navigation at 7:00 AM on Sunday, June 5, 2011. At this time the entire NYS Canal System will be open for navigation. Mariners should use caution as navigation aids may be off station and floating debris may be encountered.
