Notice to Mariners
Champlain Canal

Mariners are advised that the water level between Locks C-7 and C-8 in Fort Edward will be lowered two feet below the normal navigation level tonight, Wednesday, June 1, 2011, starting at 10:00 PM. The water level will be returned to the normal navigation level by 6:00 PM on Thursday, June 2, 2011.
Boaters are advised that due to the lowered water level the floating docks north of Lock C-7 will not be available for mooring on the evening of Wednesday, June 1, 2011.
