Notice to Mariners

Mariners are advised that additional areas of the New York State Canal System will soon open for navigation.
- The Genesee River crossing on the Erie Canal will open for navigation on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 7:00 AM.
- The entire Oswego Canal will open for navigation on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at 7:00 AM.
The Erie Canal between Lock E-24 and Lock E-26, and the Cayuga/Seneca Canal between Lock C/S-1 and the Erie Canal remain closed until further notice.
