Notice to Mariners

Mariners are advised that the Erie Canal between Lock E-23 and Lock E-24 has reopened to navigation. The Erie Canal between Lock E-24 and Lock E-26, as well as the Genessee River crossing, will remain closed to navigation until further notice.
Lock C/S-1 on the Cayuga-Seneca Canal and the Oswego Canal between Lock O-1 and Lock O-8 will remain closed to navigation until further notice. Lock C-12 on the Champlain Canal remains closed to recreational traffic, with commercial traffic on a case-by-case basis in consultation with local emergency management officials.
An update on the status of the Oswego Canal is expected within 72 hours.
