Hours of Navigation

Mariners are advised that summer hours for navigation on the New York State Canal System will take effect on Thursday, May 26, 2011 for all open sections of the Canal System and are in effect through Wednesday, September 7, 2011. The summer hours are 7:00 AM through 10:00 PM daily. Dates and hours of operation are dependent upon weather.
These summer hours will be in effect for all sections of the Canal still closed to navigation, when these sections are open to vessel traffic.
